Vice President, Comptroller
Erik Brink was appointed vice president, comptroller on July 1, 2019. He is responsible for oversight of key departments and functions including financial reporting, general accounting, payroll services, financial systems, tax services, enhanced business practices, financial workflow redesign and financial communications. In addition, Brink is a collaborative leader in the finance division’s work on core values, financial transformation projects and ongoing risk mitigation strategies.
From 2004 to 2019, Brink was the associate senior vice president, university comptroller. Prior to joining the university in 2004, Brink was a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCooopers LLP for 11 years where he served a variety of clients in both the higher education and healthcare industries. Brink earned his bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
